New Babysitters

Last night, my parents did us a huge favour and offered to babysit the kids so we could have a date.  While we had a great dinner, we partially ruined a smooth babysitting night by calling home as we were paying to check in - the phone work up Dawson, who screamed until just before we got home.  There’s nothing more stressful than trying to calm down a relentlessly screaming baby, but my parents did it twice within a couple of hours.  Here’s the successful conclusion…

Dawson At 8 Months

I’ve had several people tell me they haven’t seen any pics of Dawson lately, so here ya go - Dawson on his 8 month ‘birthday’…  He’s still only got two teeth, but he’s happy most of the day and he’s standing up on his own hanging on to things like couches, tables, chairs, people’s legs, etc.

A New Nephew


Congratulations to Lisa’s sister, Leslie, who surprised everyone with an early baby.  Carter is his name and they’re doing really well back in Collingwood.  Cedar and Dawson’s first cousin and our first nephew!
