Most Shocking Video On The Internet!

For those who haven’t heard about it, "2 Girls, 1 Cup" is the latest internet video sensation.  There are loads of videos with millions of views on YouTube featuring people watching a horrifically graphic video involving 2 women, 1 cup, and bodily fluids.  The funny thing, most people have probably never seen the ACTUAL video - the phenomenon and entertainment factor is in witnessing the reactions of others watching it.  People screaming, dry-heaving, running away - they are genuine reactions of disgust, shock, and amazement.  Here’s a compilation sampler:

WELL, Jordan at CBC Radio 3 has created a tribute called "2 Girls, 1 Bed" based on a new ‘controversial’ video from beloved Canadian singer-songwriter, Hayden.  There are reactions and the ACTUAL video!!! Check it out…

Revealed! Discovered! Uncovered!

I feel like one of those crabs that lives under a rock by the beach today - you know, when you turn over the rock and the crabs are like,

“Aaaaaaah! We’ve been discovered!  How did they ever find us under our rock? Run for the hills!!!!”

Well, I got a phone call while I was in Toronto this week telling me that this blog had been discovered at work.

“Aaaaaah!  I’ve been discovered!  How did they ever find me here… on the internet… with the URL stevepratt.com?  Run for the hills!!!!”

Mark MacArthur is our resident staff blog reader and his desktop wallpaper is usually related to something posted on a staff blog.  I’m quite sure that I will show up to work on Tuesday and find a picture of myself grilling my meat draw winnings, shirtless on vacation, or something else embarrassing beaming out from his computer screen.

It’s a bit like the classic Seinfeld episode where George Costanza’s romantic life and his personal life are two separate worlds that are both put in peril when they collide.  Or in Ghostbusters, when the worst thing that can happen is when two streams of ectoplasmic ray gun cross each other.

All I can say is thank god I don’t write anything here about work (nudge, nudge coworkers - no need to check in regularly :-) ) and have nothing horribly mortifying in the ole archives (nudge, nudge coworkers - surfing into my past will surely lead to disappointment :-) )
