Idiot Drivers
A first: today Cedar chastised me for calling a driver an idiot. This is the conversation:
"Daddy, why do you call some cars idiots and some cars not idiots?"
"Because some people are very bad drivers."
"But they’re people, not idiots. It’s not nice to call people idiots because they’re people."

This is embarrassing…
Okay, it’s a small tree, we have a new baby and a three year old who’s having her first ‘real’ Christmas where she gets the whole Santa concept, and this was our first Christmas alone, so lots of family sent out gifts… BUT, this tree is still somewhat mortifyingly overstuffed.

Needy Sandy
Sandy refuses to be ignored these days. Here, just before taking a picture with Dawson, she left up 3 feet onto my lap to get in on the action. Apparently, there’s just not enough time these days to give everyone the attention they deserve… :-( Also, I still look like I belong in a crypt - ugh.

CBC Radio 3 Launches!
The countdown is finally over! This was a HUGE week for CBC Radio 3 as we launched the ‘phase one’ version of our new cbcradio3.com website on Tuesday, and then, at 2am PT on December 1st, we launched a brand new 24/7 radio station on Sirius Satelite Radio channel 94, beaming new Canadian music and culture to all of North America. So far, three days in, we’ve had hundreds of amazing phone calls (mostly from Americans) who are loving the new music and live hosting. Very exciting!
